HOW DO WE GET TO YOUR STORE?
From Denver follow I-70 west to exit 205. Make left turn onto US hwy 6 east. Follow for about 8 miles, make a left onto Rasor Dr. and a immediate right into Mountain View Plaza.
From Vail and west. Follow I-70 east to exit 205. Take right turn onto US hwy 6 east and follow directions above.
Travel time from Denver International Airport to Mountain View Sports is about 1.5 hours in good weather and traffic conditions. If there is inclement weather travel times can be GREATLY increased. Be aware of high traffic times. Fridays traveling from Denver to Summit County and Sundays traveling from Summit County to Denver

WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO PURCHASE LIFT TICKETS?
King Soopers/City Market is a large grocery store chain that sells discounted tickets. Phone numbers are: 303-238-6486 for Denver or 970-468-2363 for Dillon. For more information please visit
kingsoopers.com. Vail resorts will also have some lift ticket specials. Visit

WHAT DO I NEED WITH ME TO PICK UP THE EQUIPMENT?
- Make sure you have whatever type of confirmation was sent to you, via email or fax.
- The socks you plan on wearing when you are skiing/snowboarding. (For a correct fit with your ski/snowboard boot).
- A credit card that we can take an imprint of as a security deposit on the equipment, along with a valid I.D.
- Your enthusiasm for winter and summer outdoor activities.
CAN I CALL OR FAX IN A RESERVATION?
Yes, however you will only receive a 10% discount compared to a 20% discount if you use our online reservation link.
CAN I RENT JUST BOOTS TO GO WITH MY OWN SKIS?
Yes, however we are required to do a binding test on your skis to make sure the bindings are working properly. The cost for this is 15.00 minus 50% for renting boots. -Remember if your skis seem a little older we have the most current and up to date technology available at the best prices in Keystone!
WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?
From November 15th through April 15th we are open 8am to 9pm everyday -Summer from June 1st through August 31st we are open 8am to 6pm -We are open all year round, however call for store hours during spring and fall as our hours may vary.
DO YOU RENT CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES?
We do rent waterproof pants and jackets. Please see our rental page for pricing -We do NOT rent goggles, sunglasses, gloves, face shields or neck gaiters, however we have all the accessories you and your group would need for sale at great prices all year round!
WHAT IF I RETURN MY EQUIPMENT EARLY?
If your equipment is returned either the evening before the due date or before 9 am that morning you will receive a refund for that day, or however many days early the equipment has been returned.
WHAT IF MY EQUIPMENT IS LOST OR STOLEN?
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR RENTAL EQUIPMENT. If it is lost or stolen you will be charged a replacement cost at a depreciated value of the equipment lost or stolen.
Contact Ski Patrol or Guest Services at the resort you are at and ask for assistance.
CAN WE PICK UP THE EQUIPMENT THE NIGHT BEFORE WE ARE SKIING/SNOWBOARDING?
Yes, you may pick up your equipment any time after 4 pm the day before and not be charged for that day.
DO YOU SELL SKIS AND SNOWBOARDS?
At the end of the season we will sell some Demo skis and snowboards. Generally around mid-April we will have some great deals on our high-end used equipment. For questions please give us a call or check out our online store!
IS IT GOING TO SNOW?
We all hope so!!! We are not weather forecasters though. For the best local weather go to

CAN WE TAKE A DAY OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RENTAL?
MVS policy is that as long as the rental equipment is out you will be charged for it. If you would like to take a day off you may return the equipment, receive a refund and then re-rent, or simply pay for the extra days use.
DO YOU HAVE SNOWBLADES?
YES, we do rent snowblades! Snowblades are a much smaller version of a ski. They are easier to maneuver at slower speeds, however at higher speeds they are not nearly as stable.
DO YOU HAVE SHAPED SKIS?
Every ski that MVS rents is a shaped ski. A shaped ski is one that is wider at the tip and tail than under the boot, similar to an hourglass shape. This design makes skiing much easier to learn and has less wear and tear on the body.
ARE YOUR RENTAL SKIS/SNOWBOARDS TUNED?
Absolutely! Every ski is tuned each time it is returned to MVS. We use the Montana Crystal Glide system, some of the best tuning equipment in the world, and have highly trained technicians to make sure your skis and snowboards are in the best shape possible.
IS THERE LOCAL TRANSPORTATION THAT GOES TO AND FROM YOUR STORE?
YES! The
Summit Stage bus line is a free service that can bring you to our store from almost anywhere in the county.
DO YOU RENT TELEMARK GEAR?
We do NOT rent telemark gear. Virgin Island and Wilderness Sports, both located in Dillon have telemark skis and boots available for rental.
WHAT TYPE OF BIKE SHOULD WE RENT?
The style of bike you ride is entirely up to you. For explanations on the different styles please see our Bike Rental Rates page.
WHAT SHOULD WE BRING ON “RIDE THE PASS?”
The weather changes very quickly in the high country and you should be prepared for all types of weather conditions. Please check the weather before you arrive for the most up to date conditions.
A light rain jacket and some layers are always a good idea. -A backpack to carry a jacket along with camera, lunch, and sunscreen.
Locks are provided upon request for the equipment.
Sunglasses are a must even on cloudy days.
